Jacalyn “Jackie” Buschta passed away January 14, 2019 at her home in Minneapolis. Jackie was born April 21, 1952 to Stan and Jean (Kot) Buschta in Detroit, Michigan. The family moved to Minot, ND where Jackie spent her younger days.

When Jackie was in grade school, the family moved to Williston, ND where Jackie graduated from Williston High School. She attended college in Bismarck, ND and became a graphic designer. Jackie was very artistic and designed record covers and also did graphic designs for Pillsbury Co. Most recently, Jackie was employed by Medica Health Plans, Hopkins MN.

Jackie loved animals and especially the neighborhood stray cats. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by brothers, Duane (Jeanne) Buschta of Williston, ND and Jim (Kristie) Buschta of Center, ND; nephew, Chris (Paula) Buschta and family; niece, Julie Schatz-Stevens and family; as well as many cousins.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service later this year. The family prefers memorials to St. Martin’s Church cemetery fund in Center, ND.
