Obituary for Jack A. Bixler Jack A. Bixler, 88, of Annville died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. He was the husband of Patricia M. Arnick Bixler to whom he was married 51 years. Born in Lebanon on July 7, 1930, he was the son of the late Herman and Mary K. Shutter Bixler.

He was employed as a foreman for Hershey Pasta, Lebanon and then worked as an equipment manager for Lebanon Valley College. In his earlier years, he worked for Bethlehem Steel Grace Mines in Morgantown, PA. Jack was a US Navy veteran of Korea and the 2012 recipient of the LVC Hot Dog Frank Award.

He was a former member of the Central Democratic Club and the Lebanon Maennerchor Club. Surviving are three daughters Pamela A. Dove of Hershey, Crystal wife of Pete Scocco of Meco, NY, Patti Bixler wife of Michael E. Heindel of Middletown, two sons John E. husband of Elizabeth Bixler of Grantville, Matthew C. husband of Rebecca Bixler of Gaithersburg, MD, eleven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth “Snoog” Coleman.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Military Honors at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 1-3 PM at the funeral home and on Monday from 10-11 AM.
