Memorial services for Jackie L. Williamson, age 59 of Albert Lea, MN, will be held on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Grace Lutheran Church. Pastor Shane Koepke will officiate.

Burial will be private. There will be a celebration of life at Green Lea Golf Course following the memorial service. Family and friends will gather on Thursday, Jan 31st from 5 – 7:00 p.m. at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.

Online condolences are welcome at: www. bayviewfuneral.com Jackie died peacefully on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019 surrounded by her family at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Albert Lea after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer for almost 15 years.

Jackie Lynn (Bentzin) Williamson was born on Nov. 27, 1959 in Austin, MN, the youngest of Lowell and Irene (Bagley) Bentzin’s seven children. She graduated from Austin High School in 1978 and attended college for a short time.

Jackie was united in marriage to Brad Williamson on Oct. 15, 1983 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin, MN. She was a loan officer for the City and County Employees Federal Credit Union for 25½ years.

Jackie enjoyed photography, music, traveling, playing piano, going for walks and taking care of her flowers. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and playing a lot of softball (with her softball team going to Nationals in 1987). Her most treasured times were spending time with her family, friends, “fur baby” Bella and “granddog” Teddy.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Jackie was involved with all her daughters’ and grandchildren’s school and sporting activities and also served on the church scholarship committee. Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Brad Williamson; daughters, Lacey (Jace) DeBoer, Katie Williamson, Lisa (Rob) Jensen; grandchildren, Zoie and Aiden; mother-in-law, Joanne Williamson; sisters, Linda (Mike) Linehan, Kathy (Chip) Grey, Betty Jean (David) Wytaske, Candy (Mike) Rector, and Rosanne Esse; brother-in-law, Bernie (Sandy) Williamson; sisters-in-law, Julie (Tom) DeBoer, Jamie (Kim) Mollberg; and several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Irene Bentzin; brother, Denny Bentzin; brothers-in-law, Paul Kroening, and John Esse; and father-in-law, Bernard Williamson.
