Obituary for Jacqueline May Labadie Print Jacqueline May Labadie, former longtime resident of Roseville, died peacefully surouunded by the love of her family on January 31, 2019. She was 87 years of age. Jacqueline was born on April 26, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Liske) Glaeser.

As a young lady in her high school years, she was very active with the Glee Club and United Service Organizations. During a dance at Mt. Clemens High School, Jacqueline meet a young man by the name of Thomas Russell Labadie.

They were married on September 14, 1957 in Detroit. The couple was blessed with two wonderful boys of whom she loved and cherished. Jacqueline dedicated her life to her family and was the epitome of a great mother and devoted wife.

Her family always came first and she made sure her children were raised with Christian values in a loving home. Jacqueline had a kindred spirit and a heart of gold. When her grandchildren came, she always made time for them and they became the apple of her eye.

Jacqueline enjoyed her Sunday drives and dinner with her family and always looked forward to going to Frankenmuth, Traverse City and Niagara Falls. Jacqueline also enjoyed playing a good game of War and Pinochle. She will always be known for her loving ways and her sweet smile.

Jacqueline will be deeply missed and her light will continue to glow in our hearts forever. Jacqueline is the devoted wife of the late Thomas; dearest mother of Timothy (Ann) and Stephen (Melissa) Labadie; cherished grandmother of Christina (Matt) Parsley, Laura Labadie, Marissa (Jon) Rolig, Alexandra (Brandon) Nadrowski and Thomas Labadie; and dear great grandmother of Jonathon Jr. , Stephen and Benjamin. Visitation will be held at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Tuesday 2pm – 8pm.

A mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11am at St. Paul of Tarsus with additional visitation at 10:30am. Memorial Contributions may be addressed to the American Kidney Association. Share memories at www.
