Jacquelyn “Jac” Woehler, 77 died Monday December 10, 2018. She was born in the Town of Black Creek on April 8, 1941, daughter of the late Emil and Beatrice (Craven) Hinz. Jac married Vernon Woehler on November 28, 1959; they celebrated 32 years of marriage before his death on July 6, 1992.

Jac was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Center. She worked at Appleton Mills for 29 years, retiring in 1995.

Jac was a past member and President of the American Legion Post #332 Auxiliary, Black Creek, lifetime member of the Ladies of the 32nd Division Veterans Association, Fox Valley Lutheran High School Alumni Association, the Appleton Mills Quarter Century Club and the WRK Fishing Club, Wild Rose. She enjoyed dancing, country music, fishing, cribbage, bowling, and traveling, especially her two trips to Alaska. Jac is survived by her son Brian; three sisters: Gloria Daelke, Pat Stammer and Marilyn Sausen; two brothers in-law: James Conradt and Chuck Sausen; sister in-law, Karen Arnold; and many nieces and nephews and her special friends from the Wild Rose area.

She was further preceded in death by her special friend, Vernon “Tex” Keenlance; a niece, Barb Broker; nephew, Jason Stammer; four brothers in-law: Emroy Daelke Gene Stammer, Bernard Kust and LeRoy Arnold; and two sisters in-law: Joanne Conradt and Jeanette Kust. Funeral service for Jac will be 11:00 AM on Friday December 14, 2018 at ST. JOHN EV.

LUTHERAN CHURCH, N3505 Hwy 47, Center, with Rev. Andrew Frey and Rev. Mark Gartner co-officiating.

Visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Thursday evening December 13, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the church Friday morning, beginning at 10:00 until 10:45 AM, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

Jac’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Pat, Mary, Bruce, Marlene, Sally, Marcia and Jeff, for all of their care and compassion. “Mom, I find comfort in knowing after 26 years you and dad are together again. I miss and love you both very much”.
