James A. Cole of Waukesha died on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at his home at the age of 80. He was born in Wisconsin Rapids on December 11, 1938 the son of Alson and Florence (nee Sweeny) Cole. He will be sadly missed by his wife Rita, daughters, Jean (John) Beaumeister, Wendy Cole, Heidi (Steven) Jankowski and Laura (Joseph) Volz, grandchildren, Nicholas Learnded, Michael Roedler, Jessica Mitchell, Rebecca Mitchell, Jason Jankowski, Allison Furrer, Elizabeth Craft and Matthew Volz and great-grandchildren, Eleanor Learnded and Thomas Craft and sister Patricia (Daniel) Abits.

He is further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Douglas. Honoring his wishes, private burial will be held at Salem Cemetery in Wales.
