OBITUARY James A. DeRoo August 10, 1928 – January 23, 2019 James A. DeRoo, age 90 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on January 23, 2019. He was born on August 10, 1928 to the proud parents of Peter and Emma DeRoo. James was the loving husband of the late JoAnne DeRoo for 62 years.

He is the beloved father of Colette (Stephen) Andersen, Timothy (Theresa) DeRoo, Mary (Robert) Powell, Jeanmarie (Arthur) DeJohn, and James (Fiancée Jasmin Rath) DeRoo. James is the grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Francis DeRoo.

Family will receive friends on Saturday January 26, 2019, beginning at 11:00 am until time of Service at 1:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave. , St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081. Memorial donations appreciated to the Detroit Police Athletic League PAL at, 1680 Michigan Ave.
