James A. Sabo, 97, of Rostraver Township died Sunday, September 9, 2018. Born in Webster on March 8, 1921, he was the son of the late Frank and Agnes (Yuhasz) Sabo. James worked his whole life as a carpenter and farmer.

He was a member of the Church of St. Anne and served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He is survived by his son, James W. Sabo of Rostraver; daughters, Cecelia M. Sabo of Rostraver and Mary H. (Albert) Arelt of Monroeville; and grandsons, Charles and Russell Arelt of Monroeville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret C. “Rita” (Kuma) Sabo.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www. jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, Rostraver with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti as celebrant.

Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
