James was born in Miami, Florida July 27, 1960 to father James William Stewart and mother Glinda M. Hopkins Stewart. In his younger years he worked heavy equipment mostly clearing farm fields.

He had a Big Heart! , he would cookout and invite all his friends and neighbors. He would help anyone in any way he could, giving them his food even when he hardly had any himself.

James loved fishing, listening to country & western music, even old cowboy movies. He loved his grandchildren, and every dog. Everyone knew James never met a stranger!

James leaves behind to mourn his passing, his 2 sons: Nathan Williams and David Williams, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, 4 sisters: Janice Jones, Debbie Leko, Lisa Cooler and Kathy Anzualda, 1 brother: John P. Stewart and his devoted fiancé: Terly Mitchell along with nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The memorial service is pending.
