Clinton Mr. James Abner Knowles, 78 of 309 W. Elizabeth St. passed away Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 at his home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 17th at 2:00 PM at Red Hill Universalist Church with Rev. Chuck Yancey officiating.

Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Born on June 16th, 1940 in Sampson County, Jim was the son of the late James Aubrey and Amber Robinson Knowles. Jim served in the United States National Guard and was a member of Red Hill Universalist Church.

Jim is survived by his two daughters: Kimberly Knowles Judd and husband, Kenneth of Manassas, Va. and Donna Knowles of Woodbridge, VA and their mother, Rhea Nell Knowles; Three grandchildren: Michael, Kennley and Katelyn Judd. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his two sisters: Judy K. Feldbusch and Joyce K. Lawson.

Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 1pm on Friday at the Church. Royal-Hall is honored to serve the Knowles family.
