Obituary for James Albert Moreland Sr. There was a baby boy born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 1, 1944 to Alonzo and Dorothy Rolfe Moreland. He was their third child. James Albert Moreland Sr., 74, passed away on November 29, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Loretta, brothers; Alonzo Jr., and Glen and one grandson; Jarron. James was baptized at an early age at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. He attended Harrison Elementary and graduated from Douglas High School.

James married Bobbie Moreland and to that union two children born; Kennetha and Timothy Moreland. He moved to Shreveport, Louisiana where he married Greta Moreland where two more children were born; James A. Moreland Jr., and Lisa Moreland. James later married Betty Moreland, when he became ill he moved back to Oklahoma City.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved sister; Alice (Terry) Rucker, brother; Leslie and sister; Michelle and his children and grandchildren. James loved life itself and he had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. I will always remember we would always say “I will see you later” but never bye, bye.
