Mr. James Albert ‘Rudy’ Sizemore, age 50, of Flat Lick, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in the Bluegrass Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born to Albert and Thelma (Collett) Sizemore on July 9, 1968 in Beverly, Kentucky. James believed in the Baptist faith and went home to be with the Lord.

He was a coal truck driver, loved to hunt, fish, sport cars, grilling and the outdoors. He especially like to spend time with family, friends, and dearly loved his Mother. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Sizemore, stepfather Willie Joe Helton, sister Kathy Ann Sizemore and half-sister Brenda Smith.

Left behind to mourn his passing are his loving mother Thelma (Collett) Sizemore of Flat Lick, Kentucky, wife Laura Gray of Flat Lick, Kentucky, sons James Otis Sizemore and wife Ruth of Gray, Kentucky, Anthony Lee Sizemore and wife Tara of Bell County, Kentucky, brother Frank Sizemore and wife Tracy of Flat Lick, Kentucky, sisters Devonda Carnes and husband Donnie of Flat Lick, Kentucky, Wendy Gray and husband Jeffrey of Flat Lick, Kentucky, Sandra Sizemore and husband Evie of Dayton, Ohio, uncle Leamon Collett and wife Geneva of Flat Lick, Kentucky, aunts Elizabeth Messer and husband Vantory of Girdler, Kentucky and Mary Saylor and husband Leonard of Flat Lick, Kentucky, and many special nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. James Albert Sizemore will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Salem Baptist Church on Stinking Creek in Flat Lick, Kentucky, with Reverend Lonnie Collett officiating.

Burial will follow in Polly Warren Cemetery in Stinking Creek, Kentucky. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Friends will be received at Salem Baptist Church on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. To the Sizemore family, the staff of Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home would like to express our heartfelt sympathy during your time of bereavement.
