James C. “Jim” Denman, 74, of Wapakoneta, died Fri. morning, Feb. 22, 2019, at his home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1944, in Columbus, OH, the son of Charles R. & Marjorie (Wester) Denman, who preceded him in death. Survivors include, a son, Thomas J. Denman, Wapakoneta, 2 grandsons, Joshua Denman, Wapakoneta, & Allen Denman, Arkansas, 2 great grandchildren, Gabriel & Lillian, his former wife, Lynn (Frantz) Denman, former brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Jill (Roy) McCoy, James (Casey) Frantz, David (Kaye) Frantz, & Janet (Steve) Phillips, several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Denman. Jim worked 40 years at the Wapakoneta Machine Co He was a member & past president of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #691, Wapakoneta.

His other memberships included the Sons of the American Legion Post #330, and the Amvets, Post #333, both of Wapakoneta. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be 2-4 p.m., Sun. March 3, 2019, at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club, 25 E. Auglaize St., Wapakoneta.
