OBITUARY James E. Corn Jr. February 24, 1928 – December 25, 2018 Mr. James E. Corn, Jr., 90, of Charlotte, NC went to his Heavenly Home on Christmas morning, December 25, 2018. He was born in Altoona, PA on February 24, 1928 to Mr. James Corn, Sr. and Mrs. Lillian (Brammer) Corn. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church for 46 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Charlotte for 16 years.

He was a man who loved his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ and this Christmas he received the greatest gift when he entered his Eternal home. Mr. Corn was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Iris C. Corn. He is survived by his son Steve Corn and his wife Mindy of Indian Trail, NC; his daughter Sharon Corn of Charlotte, NC; his sister, Mrs. Delores Mims of Pineville, NC; and two nieces.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Charlotte, 301 S. Davidson St., Charlotte, NC 28202 on Thursday, January 3, 2019 with the Rev. Michael Cummings officiating. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am, the funeral at 12:00 noon, and graveside services to continue afterwards at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 1504 W. Sugar Creek Rd.
