James E. Naughton, of Williamstown, NJ (Holiday City), formerly of Cherry Hill and Voorhees, passed away at home on February 7, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Devoted husband for 63 years of Constance “Tina” Naughton (nee Maiorano); beloved father of Karen Naughton-Green (Mark) of Las Vegas, NV, Mark Naughton (Joanne) of Sewell, NJ, Jami Weber (the late Matt) of Sicklerville, NJ, Geneo Naughton of Westville, NJ, and Jack Naughton (Fiancee Barbara Grace) of Runnemede, NJ; dear grandfather of Kara Green, Mark James Naughton, Jenna Naughton DeHart (Mike), Kacey Strock (Chad), Tina Weber Dix (Bill), Nick Naughton, Cassandra Pinyan, Kerri Weber, Paige Green, Mackenzi Naughton, and Chase Naughton;proud great-grandfather of Presley McMenamin, Avrey Naughton, Landon DeHart, and Blakely Strock; loving brother of Rene Eckenrod (Larry) of Pittsburg, PA, and the late Jack Naughton (sister-in-law Janet of Pittsburgh);he is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many dear friends and neighbors. Jim was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, and the Vice President of the Holiday Ctiy Veteran’s Association.

He was a N.J. Exempt Fireman, and member of the N.J. Exempt Fireman’s Relief Association; former longtime volunteer of the Cherry Hill Fire Dept. , and of the Cherry Hill Ambulance Squad. He enjoyed volunteering his time to help with bingo and pool maintenance at Holiday City.

Viewings will be Sunday, Feb 10th, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, and Monday, Feb. 11th, 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish/St. Mary’s Church, Carroll Ave. and Main St., Williamstown, NJ.

His Funeral Mass will follow at Noon Monday at the Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of Flowers, contributions to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) would be appreciated.
