Obituary for James Edward Miller James Edward Miller,70 of Acme passed away in his home on Thursday December 6, 2018. He was born March 8, 1948 in Mount Pleasant. James was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde E. and Bernice M. Hamm Miller.
James was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, Class of 1966. He was also a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Class of 1972. James was a teacher at Meyersdale Area High School for 24 years.
He was a member of the Paradise United Methodist Church. He also enjoyed coaching soccer for Meyersdale Area High School and for various local travel teams. In retirement James enjoyed traveling with Linda, his devoted wife of 48 years.
James will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving family, his wonderful wife, Linda M. Miller( Kuhns); his children, Christine L. Wilson and husband Matt of Canal Fulton, Oh. , Jamie M. Adams and husband Stephen of Kittanning, Jonathan E. Miller and wife Marsha of Acme, Joshua J. Miller and wife Michelle of Pennsburg, Pa. and Jeremy R. Miller and wife Joselyn of York,Pa.
his sister, Ginger Fligger-Ayora and husband Edward of Casa Grande, AZ. and his grandchildren, Matt Jeffrey, Zachary, Jennifer and Christopher Wilson, Jadyn, Lexie and Charlotte Adams, Ashley, Austin and Abby Miller, Arianna LaCava, Leanna Miller and Landon Miller. Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. Sunday and 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 406 E. Washington St., Mount Pleasant.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Dave Evans officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
