The family of Mr. James Fredrick Brown, Sr., age 65, of Somerville, will host a memorial service on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, 6:30 p.m. at Eternal Life Ministries, 1526 NE Thompson Road, Decatur (Priceville), AL. Shelton Funeral Home assisted the family. Mr. Brown, who died Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at the Parkway Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born December 10, 1952, in Covington, KY to Fred Brown and Lois Marie Campbell Brown.

He was a pipe fitter and welder. He is survived by two sons, James Allen “Jamie” Brown of Decatur, and James Fredrick Brown, II of Somerville; one brother, Mickey Brown of Decatur; three sisters, Sherry McAdams, Kim Scott, and Carol Austin, all of Decatur; three grandchildren, Jessica Seymour, Brittany Slater, and Jacob Dutton; and three great-grandchildren, Braxton Sevenson, McKinzey Dutton, and Micah Dutton.
