James Hyde Jr., 80, a resident of Charleston, TN went to be with his Lord & Savior on Friday, June 22, 2018. He was born on June 27, 1937. James was a member of North Cleveland Church of God.

James is preceded in death by his parents Jim & Bertha Hyde, one sister Louise Farmer and two brothers Richard Hyde and Lewis Hyde. James leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Shirley of 63 years, two sons Rick Hyde and Steve Hyde, one daughter Kim Hyde,… Read More » two granddaughters Cassie Vaughn (Dustin) and Stephanie Wolfe, one great grandson Conner Vaughn, six sisters Myrtle Harris, Inez Harris, Janette Thompson, Geraldine Hines, Imogene Firestone (Bobby) and Eva Reese (Edward), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends. A celebration of his life is planned for Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Dixon Chapel of the North Cleveland Church of God 335 11th Street NE in Cleveland TN with the Pastor Mitch Maloney, Dr. David Blair and the Pastor Cy Harris officiating.

Interment will follow in the Delano Cemetery with Ed Brown, Randy Brown, Eddie Jones, Neil Hodgson, John Franklin and Demarr Melton serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday evening in the Dixon Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
