James “Jim” Anthony Cavalieri Jr., of Revere formerly of East Boston, passed away after a long illness surrounded by his loving family on February 20th. Jim was born in Boston on October 23,1951 to the late James A and Carmella (DiMassi) Cavalieri. Beloved husband of over 47 years of Linda (Pecora) Cavalieri.

Devoted father of James A. Cavalieri III and his companion Diana of Saugus and Jennifer Coppenrath and his husband Michael of Revere. Dear brother of Theresa Algeni of Maine, Regina Marcucella and her husband Tony of South Carolina, Eleanor Cavalieri of Florida and the late Roseann Saunders and her late husband Frank. Cherished grandfather of James IV, Jeremy, Ella James, Chase and Camryn Marie.

Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friend’s that he cherished so dearly as family. Jim was a member of Local #3 Bricklayers Union and the long-time proprietor of Cavalieri Construction Company. Family and friends will honor Jim’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga St., East Boston, on Sunday February 24th from 2:00PM to 6:00PM and again on Monday morning at 8:30AM before leaving in funeral procession to St. Anthony’s Church Revere St., Revere for a 10:00AM funeral mass in celebration of Jim’s life.

Services will conclude with Jim being laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Inspire Hope Foundation for Urea Cycle Disorders 95 Linda Rd.
