Obituary for James Joseph “Jim” Kaju James J. Kaju age 53, of Minneapolis. , born February 21, 1965. Passed away December 24, 2018.

Preceded in death by father, Michael A.; brothers, Michael and Jeffrey. Survived by his loving family; mother, Jane; brothers, and sisters, Peg (Bob Leonard), Paul (Jane Peterson), Tom, Gina, Kathy, Joe, Patty (Joe) McDonald; nine nieces and nephews; and many relatives and friends. He served proudly as a Minneapolis police officer for many years and earned several awards, including the distinguished Medal of Valor.

He loved all sports, photography, singing, and telling a good story. We will miss his kind heart and sense of humor. Memorials preferred to Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge and The Salvation Army ARC Minneapolis.
