James’ Obituary I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. II Timothy 4:7 Life’s Journey James Bailey, affectionately known as “Sunny” was born on November 7, 1945 to the late Sam and Eudora Bailey in Keo, Arkansas. James confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and attended the Church of Christ under the leadership of Bro.

Huff until his death. James enlisted in the United States Army in July of 1969 and faithfully served his country until October of 1973. He received an honorable discharge and Purple Heart for his heroic service.

James “Sunny” was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and seven brothers. James answered his heavenly call on January 15, 2019. James “ Sunny” leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Erma (Roosevelt) Davis of Marvell, AR, and Earlee Walker of Mauldin, South Carolina, two stepchildren, Al Williams of Texas and Denetra Williams of Marvell, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom he adored and enjoyed spending time with on a regular basis.

His special nieces in his life were, Kerin Cosey, Earnestine Sanders, Danette Tabor, and a special nephew, Michael Coleman and a special great-grand niece, Yazzmin Johnson.
