James Michael Whitt, age 51, of the Berlin Road, Weston, died Sunday, January 20, 2019, at his home. He was born July 17, 1967, in Cleveland, OH, a son of the late Clarence G. Whitt and Mary Schuschu Anderson, who survives. Also surviving are his three children: James Michael Whitt, Jr., Christian Edward Wallace Whitt, and Cherokee Nicole Whitt, all of Buckhannon; one brother Jason Michael Whitt of Weston; one sister Jan Davis of Buckhannon; a half brother Randy Whitt of Florida; the mother of his children, April Pugh, of Buckhannon; one uncle Walter Brown; and several other half siblings.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Edward James and Shirley Alice Schuschu; paternal grandparents: Randolph and Hazel Whitt; aunt Betty Ann Clemens and husband Bill; and aunt Donna Brown. The body will be cremated. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 3-4:00 PM, at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel.
