James P. Amirante of Lansing, Passed away December 27, 2018, at the age of 77. James was born in Chicago on June 30, 1941, the son of Harry and Evelyn (Naecker) Amirante. He owned his own upholstery business for 20 plus years in Lansing.

James also organized the first successful 8-ball pool league in Lansing in 1977 that still runs today known as Michigan Pocket Billiard Players.
