James Paul Ayers March 22, 1939 – January 6, 2019 James Paul Ayers, 79 of Pulaski, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ayers was born in Carroll County to the late Harry Davis and Jane Finney Ayers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Lynn Ayers.

Survivors include his wife, Glenna Ayers of the home; brother, Elwood Ayers of Arizona; sister Ana Ayers of Galax; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kenneth Wyatt officiating.

Burial will follow in the South West Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
