Mr. James “Pete” Nixon, 88, passed away on January 15, 2019 at his residence. He was born November 25, 1930, in Morgan County to Authur Hayden Nixon and Maudie Riethmaier Nixon. He was employed as an Electronic Technician for Redstone Arsenal prior to his retirement and served for six years with the United States Air Force.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Preceding him in death were his parents and two sons: David and Steven Nixon. Family members will hold a Memorial Service at a later date.

Survivors include : his Wife, Jeanette Nixon One Son: James Michael Nixon (Sherri) One Brother: Jimmy Nixon (Theresa) Two Sisters: Betty Thompson (Dorman) and Shirley Fay Thomas (Andy) Five Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren Peck Funeral Home 1600 Hwy 31 SW P.O.
