James R. Schmitz April 30, 1943 – February 13, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card James R. Schmitz 1943-2019 James R. Schmitz, 75, of Kenosha passed away Wed. Feb. 13, 2019 at Crossroads Care Center.

James was born on April 30, 1943 in Kenosha the son of the late Roger & Gloria (Greenwald) Schmitz. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from St. Joseph High School. James married Louise Mayer on April 29, 1972 in Kenosha.

James worked at A.M.C.- Chrysler for over 30 years as a Security Guard. He was a member of the National Guard. His hobbies were fishing, woodworking, lawn care at his home, and he was an avid Packer and Cub fan.

James is survived by his wife, Louise,2 children, Debbie Schmitz, and Joe (Cathy) Schmitz, and 3 grandchildren Marissa, Madelyn and Myla. He was preceded in death by a sister Joan Pfeiffer and a brother Roger Schmitz. In lieu of flowers memorials for Hospice Alliance would be appreciated.

A memorial gathering will be Wed. Feb. 20th, 2019 from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory 8226-Sheridan Rd.
