Graveside services for James Ray “Jim” Ford, 73, Enid resident, will be held at 11:0 0a.m. on January 10, 2019 in the Fort Bliss National Cemetery, Fort Bliss, Texas. Full Military honors will be conducted by the United States Army. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Jim was born on November 16, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of James Orval and Wanda Anita Haughey Ford, and passed away peacefully on December 25, 2018 at his residence. He was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jim married Lois Ann McDonough on August 29, 1969 in Zaragoza, Chihuahua, Old Mexico.

Jim served his country in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War and retiring in 1986 with rank E-7 Sgt First Class. They moved to Enid in 2010. Survivors include his wife, Lois of the residence; sons, James Ford of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Timothy Ford of Temple, Texas, Ted Ford of Enid; two grandsons, Brian Ford and Andrew Ford, both of Enid.
