Obituary for James “Red” Garvis Morgan Talladega- James “Red” Garvis Morgan, 88, passed away Friday April 13, 2018. Graveside services will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Midway Memorial Gardens. The family will meet at the cemetery at 3:20 p.m. There will be no public visitation.

Mr. Morgan lived most of his life in Talladega and was a member of Talladega Creek Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for the church. Mr. Morgan is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Bernice Nuel Crabtree Morgan. He is survived by his son, Ricky (Astrid) Morgan; daughters, Patricia (Mike) Morgan Hart and Teffeney (Tony) Staples; sister, Maggie Pearl Morgan; grandchildren: Christopher (Alicia) Morgan, James Jeffrey (Sheila) Hart, Michael Joseph (Casey) Hart, Candace Cameron Hart, and Brett Staples; great-grandchildren: Ryan Christopher Garvis Morgan, Joshua Alexander Morgan, Jacia Cameron (Kyle) Kuns, Kaiden Micah Cameron, Connor Bryant Hart, Gavin Liam Hart, Brantlee Dalton Hart, Brendan Jon Hart; and great-great-grandchild, Maddox Kai Kuns.
