Obituary for James Robert Bennett Mr. James Robert Bennett, age 72, of Boaz, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his home. His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Boaz Carr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Summett Cemetery.

Bro. Trenton Wells will officiate the service. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 12 until 2 before the service.

Casket bearers will be Jamey Bennett, Jason Bennett, Billy Hemby, Danny Bennett, Daniel Tarvin and Michley Hensley. Honorary casket bearers will be Donald Wayne Lowery, L. J. Tarvin, Tracy and Billy Hemby. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bennett, children, Tammy (Danny) Hensley, Joey Bennett, Jamey Bennett, Jason Bennett and Susan Bennett, fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother, Danny Bennett, sisters, Myrtle (Eddie) Atchley, Kelly Evans, Debra (Jeff) Smith and Angie Spence, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Earlene Bennett, brother, Jerry Bennett, sisters, Mary Singer, Ruth Dukes and Donna Bennett.
