James Robert Fox, 89, of Cary, formerly of Asheboro, died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Memorial Services, 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church, Ramseur. Officiating, Rev.

Josh Kurtz. James was a native of California, a retired psychologist, and a member of Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church, Ramseur. He was a Captain in the United States Airforce and a member of the Rotary Club.

Survivors: wife, Peggy Gilmore Fox, of Ramseur, daughter, Elisa Sumakeris, of Cary, son, Greg Fox, and wife, Becky, of Clemmons, sister, Vivian Berliner, of San Rafael, CA. , grandchildren, Kathryn Sumakeris, Jay Sumakeris, Lucas Sumakeris, all of Cary, Joshua Fox, Jackson Fox, Levi Fox, all of Clemmons, niece, Laurie Berliner, of Fairfax, CA. Visitation, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church, Ramseur.
