OBITUARY James Robert Schemenauer December 17, 1933 – July 14, 2018 James Robert Schemenauer, of Phoenix, was called home on Sarurday, July 14, 2018. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Ann, his parents and brothers and sisters. He was surrounded by family.

“Jim” was a Navy veteran, who served in both Japan and Korea during the Korean war. He was a retail manager for most of his career, as well as a business consultant and case worker for the state of Arizona for several years. He also volunteered at a local nursing home.

Jim loved football and was a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan. He loved fishing and camping and watching old westerns and wildlife shows on TV. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joyce, who was always by his side.

He is also survived by his daughters-Lisa (Joe Gonzol), Joan (Jack Pare), Kimberly (Steve Lewis) and Elizabeth (Neal Wright) as well as 13 adoring grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed for his sense of humor, devotion to his wife and family, and love of life.
