Obituary for James Routhieaux James (Jim) Routhieaux, 75, Green Bay, died peacefully Dec. 1, 2018, at the Hurrish home from complications of bladder cancer. Jim was born on May 8th, 1943 to the late Earl and Marie (Casper) Routhieaux in Green Bay, WI.

On July 10, 1965, he married Jean Weycker. They celebrated 53 blessed years together. Jim owned Sno-Cap Drive In, Jerio’s Restaurant, and West Pitcher Show.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5382 where he participated in the march for life for the unborn, the tootsie roll drive, and feeding the homeless. He loved working at the Ss. Edward and Isidore rummage sale with his granddaughters, serving funeral meals, and working the beer tent at the annual Harvest Fest.

Jim made hundreds of Packer cheese scarves for the NEW Community Shelter. This time of year he spent many hours ringing bells for the Salvation Army. He was a member of the Four Seasons Adventure Club where he met many faithful friends.

Jim then started the Handsome Men’s Club with all these friends. He is survived by his wife Jean (Weycker) Routhieaux; two children, Amy (Steve) Hurrish, of Green Bay, and Paul (Amanda Miller) Routhieaux, of Green Bay; six grand children, Jake (Ciara Powell) Hurrish, Maggie, Molly and Gracie Hurrish, and Nadia and Michael Routhieaux; sisters, Jane Goudreau, and Julie (Jake) Maas; sisters-in-law, Julia Routhieaux, Rose Routhieaux, Jan Weycker, and Carol Weinhauer; brothers-in-law, Clyde Weycker and Larry Weycker. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Rita Routhieaux; brothers, John and Jeff Routhieaux; father and mother-in-law, Clyde and Gladys (Kollman) Weyker; brothers-in-law, Jack Goudreau, Roger Olejniczack, and Byron Weycker; sisters-in-law, June Olejniczak, Diane Weycker, and Marion Weycker.

Visitation at SS. Edward and Isadore Catholic Church, 3667 Flintville Rd. , Saturday, December 15, from 9 AM until the time of the Mass at 12 PM (Noon) with Father Dave Hoffman officiating.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Bellin and St. Marys Hospital. Also, many thanks to our family and friends for stopping by to say goodbye and showing him how much he was loved.
