Obituary for James Sanford Parnell Sr. Conway…Jim Parnell, age 72, of Privetts Road, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2018 at Conway Medical Center. Mr. Parnell was born in Antreville, SC, a son of the late James Lawrence and Jenny Aurelia Kay Parnell. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Brenda C. Powell, one son, Sandy Parnell (Carrie) of Conway, two grandchildren, Jesse Hucks and Andy Parnell, two brothers, Rick Parnell (Elaine) of Greenville, SC and Johnny Parnell of Greer, SC, and one sister, Brenda L. Parnell of Charlotte, NC. No local services are planned. Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
