Obituary for James Scott “Jamie” Knight James Scott Knight, 35, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in Monroe County. Jamie was born on May 5, 1983 in Amory to Tiffany Gail Knight Crawley and James Douglas Crump. He grew up in the Parham Community and as a child he enjoyed riding horses and 4 wheelers.

Jamie was a 2001 graduate of Hatley High School and worked in the family restaurants along with several other jobs before becoming disabled. With a creative mind, he was an exceptional painter and he loved flowers and tending to his bonsai tree. He loved all types of music and he enjoyed fishing.

Jamie was known for a good heart and that goodness was shown by his willingness to give to others. Spending time with family is what he cherished most. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Rev.

Stanley Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in the Greenbrier Cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Tiffany Crawley (Brad) of Nettleton; his father, James Crump of Becker; a father who raised him as his own, Keith Parham (Dottie) of Hatley; two brothers, Jeremy Crump and Matthew Crump both of Gulf Shores, AL, Carter Crawley, and Tanner Crawley (Katie Beth); sister, Summer Thornhill (Jared); aunts and uncles, Debbie Knight (Bill) of Becker, Mike Reeves (Tiffany) of Becker, Austin Knight (Morgan) of Tupelo, Kathy Bourland (Kenny) of Louisville, Rusty Crump (Judy) of Amory, Scott Parham (Angel) of Amory, Jennifer Taylor (Tommy) of Amory, Tammy McIntosh (Buck) of Shannon, Ronnie Reeves of Tupelo, and Jeff Herndon of New Albany; grandparents, Kathryn Crump of Aberdeen and Betty Parham of Hatley and Stanley Reeves of Becker, Gene Knight of Tupelo, and Donald Crawley of Nettleton; special cousin, Chris Pickle; and special friends, Rachel and Kenny Bryant and Mavis Estes.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joan Reeves, Margaret Crawley, Paul Ray Parham, and William H. Crump; and an uncle, Anthony Parham. Pallbearers will be Kenny Bryant, Keith Brown, Danny Parham, Ronnie Reeves, Chris Randolph, and Johnny Knight. Honorary pallbearer will be Kenny Bryant, Jr. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
