James Steven Cromeans May 8, 1970 – May 20, 2019 James Steven Cromeans, born May 8, 1970, age 49, passed from this life Monday, May 20, 2019, at Longview Regional Medical Hospital in Longview Texas. He was a resident of Atlanta TX. James Steven Cromeans is preceded in death by his sisters Janie Cromeans and Misty Mangrum.

He is survived by his mother and father Barbara and Richard Cromeans of Atlanta TX; father Monte Spann of San Angelo TX; sons James Cromeans and wife Nicole of AZ, Brandon Cromeans of Atlanta TX, and Colton Cromeans of Queen City TX; daughter Danelle Collins and husband Christopher of Atlanta TX; brothers Blake and Bucky Spann of Lubbock TX; sisters Lisa King and husband Gene of New Colony TX, Ashley Spann of San Angelo TX, and Kaitlin Veazey and husband Justin of San Angelo TX; and ten grandchildren. Our father was a well-known man in the community, and for the most part, he was loved for all the wonderful things he did while he served us, the community, for the 18 years that he was a police officer. He strived to be a good role model for his kids and grandkids, and for the most part, he was.

He had his hardheaded moments, but we still always loved him and we always will. In remembrance of Steve Cromeans, a son, a brother, and a father. Officer Steve Cromeans will be laid to rest under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home.

A visitation in his honor will be held, Thursday, May 23, 2019, beginning at 5:00 PM and ending at 7:00 PM at Queen City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held the following morning, Friday, May 24, 2019, at Cass County Cowboy Church beginning at 9:00 AM. Steve will be interred next to his beloved sisters, Janie Cromeans and Misty Mangrum at Pine Crest Cemetery in Atlanta TX.
