James William Dupree, 66, of Moncks Corner entered into eternal rest Monday February 11, 2019 surrounded by his family. James was born February 2, 1953 in Berkeley County a son of Aileen Cannon and the late Louis Seawall Dupree. A retired surveyor with Berkeley County, James was an avid golfer and was a member of the Berkeley Country Club for many years.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a son- William Drayton “Dray” Dupree and his wife, Tammy, of Moncks Corner; a daughter- Chelsea Dupree Colyar and her husband, Trey, of Moncks Corner; six grandchildren- Dalton Colyar, Ryland Colyar, Peyton Colyar, Raegan James Colyar, Josh Helms and Shelby Canty; brothers- Harry Dupree and his wife, Linda, of Moncks Corner; Louis “Bubba” Dupree and his wife, Beth of Macedonia; Louis Dupree of Cary, NC; sister- Teresa Cannon of Goose Creek. In addition to his father James was predeceased by his step mother- Betty Dupree; step father- M.C. Cannon and a brother- Allen Dupree. A Drop-In Celebration of Life will be held at The Arch, 108 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 29461, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 5 to 7 o’clock.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Changed Lives Ministries/Hanna House, 470 Reid Hill Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
