James’ Obituary NAME: “Bill” Brown DATELINE: Cross Anchor James William “Bill” Brown, age 72, of 372 Union Highway, Enoree, SC passed away at his home on Friday, February 22, 2019. A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin “BF” and Nellie Rhodes Brown and the widower of Frances Willard Roberson Brown. He was a member of Cross Anchor Yarborough United Methodist Church, a retired employee with Bailey Hospital in the Purchasing department and a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include two daughter, Rene`e Cannon and husband Shealy of Kinard, Barbara Elizabeth Thompson and husband, John of Cross Keys; one brother, Gerald Brown and wife Shirley of Woodruff; four grandchildren, Kimberly Starnes, Jay Weisner III, Michelle Mahaffey and Sarah Vassey; very special Care-giver, Cynthia Lanford and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Forest Hills Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 28th at Cross Anchor Yarborough Chapel United Methodist Church officiated by Rev.

Carrol Caldwell. The family is at their respective homes.
