James A. Jenkins, 84, of Richmond, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. James was born on December 13, 1933 in Williamsport, PA to Leonard and Rose Jenkins. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church.

James was an avid Redskins fan, loved sports, fishing, baseball, and bowling. James also participated in many antique car shows, showing off his 1958 Ford Wagon. He retired in the 1980’s from Wacovia Bank.

He is survived by his sister, Lois Tuttle; nieces and nephews Rosemary Bruce, John and Mark Tuttle; and 11 great nieces and nephews. James in preceded in death by his brother Leonard Jenkins, Jr. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 10 at Dale Memorial Park.
