James C. Harris of Goshen, OH. Born on January 15, 1944 in Cincinnati, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2019 at the age of 75.

Beloved husband of 55 years to Mary A. (nee Gladwell) Harris. Loving father of James C. (Amanda) Harris Jr. Caring grandfather of Ashley (Daniel) Grider and Serenity Harris. Proud great-grandfather of Shawn Grider, Scarlet Grider, Dorian Grider and Leon Grider.

Dear brother of Diana Sprague, Linda Hammond, Richard Harris and the late William Harris, Joe Harris and Mary Ann Thompson. Cherished son of the late William and Alice (nee Traurig) Harris. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Jim proudly served in the United States Army. He was owner/operator of A La Carte Upholstering for 29 years. Family and friends will be received from 10 AM – 12 Noon on Wednesday, March 13 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt.

28, Goshen, where services will immediately follow at 12 Noon. Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH. Memorial donations may be made in memory of James Harris to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd.

, Cincinnati, OH 45206 Pastor Phil Hopper will be the minister for Jim’s services. Pallbearers for Jim are: Danny Lutes, Mike Zeh, William Cochrane, Todd Gladwell, Richard Harris, Timmy Gladwell, Dick Harris and Wayne Sprague.
