Obituary for Jamie Robert Coy Jamie Robert Coy, 45, of New Castle passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 9, 1973 in New Castle to James R. and Debbie (Lee) Coy. Jamie was a 1991 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School, where he participated on the football, baseball and wrestling teams.

In 1993, he earned his Associates Degree in C.A.D. Operating Systems from ITT Technical Institute. Jamie worked at Coor Consulting as a C.A.D. operator and for the past nine years at the New Castle Correctional Facility as a Corrections Officer. He loved hunting, fishing and watching his son, Jake, play sports.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Angela (Poe) Coy; son, Jacob Coy; brothers, Jeff (Linda) Coy of Richmond, Darren (Diane) Coy of New Castle; his best friend, Dwayne “Doogan”; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John N. and Reva Irene Lee and Herchel E. and Vera M. Coy. Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Davis officiating.
