Jane Mahan, 88, of Searcy, died February 24, 2019 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born July 6, 1930 at Nashville, Tennessee to the late Eddie and Delcie Marsh Bowers. Jane was a strong-willed woman, known for her spunky – spitfire personality, and loved by all who knew her.

She spent the majority of her career as an interior decorator; and prior to moving to Searcy, she owned Jane’s Boutique in Green Hills, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Mahan and daughter, Lynn Mahan. She is survived by six grandchildren, Nina Phillips (David) of Taft, Tennessee, Amelinda Rush (Michael) of Searcy, Justin Mahan of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; Seth Mahan (Melisa) of Searcy; Lauren Douglas and Lacey Douglas; thirteen great grandchildren.

The family will plan a memorial service at a date to be announced.
