OBITUARY Jane Nichols July 1, 1919 – December 23, 2018 Jane Nichols, was born July 1, 1919 on a farm near Lathrop, MO to John and Sarah Ellen Robinett. She died Dec. 23, 2018 at Pleasant Valley Manor.

Jane grew up on the farm east of Turney, MO. Graduated from high school there and attended college at Warrensburg. She taught in rural schools in Clinton and DeKalb Counties for several years.

She married her college sweetheart, Horace Nichols, in 1941. They had two children, John and Deanna. Horace preceded her in death in 1984.

Jane was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, gardening and bridge. In addition to her husband, Jane is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Deanna Nichols; and her sisters, Katherine Shrewsbury, Dorothy Young and Alice Brazelton.

Survivors include her son, John Nichols , three grandsons, Matthew, Todd and Keenan; and two great-grandsons, Austin and Conner. Services are Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO.

Visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 and Funeral Service at 10:00 AM.
