Mrs. Jane Scott, 85 of Quitman passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Scott was born January 28, 1934 to the late Homer J. & Ruth Floyd McCorvey. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and a long standing member of Pebble Hill Community Club.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Franklin Lamar Scott of Quitman; daughters, Terry (Bill) DeCoudres of Valdosta, Kathy (Bruce) LaBove of Barney, and Pat (Randy) Sharp of Quitman; grandchildren, Randy (Katie) DeCoudres, Lang (Liz) DeCoudres, Jessica Sharp (Michael Schrader), and Shelby Sharp; great grandchildren, Anna Grace DeCoudres, John William DeCoudres, Ella DeCoudres, Amelea Jane DeCoudres, and Franklin DeCoudres; brothers, Jack (Daisy) McCorvey of Albany, Billy (Ligeia) McCorvey of Thomas Co; sisters, Harriett (Vonnie) Stanaland of Thomas Co, Mae Myers of Augusta, and Elaine (Jack) Taylor of Thomasville. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky McCorvey. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.
