Mrs. Jane Young, 89 of Quitman passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Presbyterian Home Quitman. Mrs. Young was born December 23, 1929 to the late Robert Mitchell & Frances Lowery Logan. She was a member of the Quitman United Methodist Church and was a kindergarten teacher with the Brooks County School System.

Mrs. Young was also a pink lady at the Brooks County Hospital and loved to oil paint. Survivors include her children, Robert (Leah) Harrison of Valdosta, and Carolyn (Wesley) Sirmans of Quitman; grandchildren, Steven Sirmans of Orlando, and Rachel (Justin) Harrison Bennett of Valdosta; one great grandchild, Jessica Sirmans; one sister, Roxie Roach of Miami, Fl; and sister in law, Jean Logan of Quitman.
