Janell McComb 92, of Vandergrift passed away peacefully at Quality Life Services in Apollo, PA on Friday January 18th. She had been a beloved resident there for almost seven years. Janell enjoyed reading, coloring intricate pictures, and doing craft work with friends in the activity room.

She also loved angels and always kept an extensive collection of angel figurines around her. She is survived by sons Thomas Dawkins, John Michael Dawkins, and Don Donati, two grandsons, one granddaughter, one great granddaughter (who knew Janell as “GG”), and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ivor and Mary (Campbell) Dawkins, sisters Martha Frank, Rhoda Nasetka, Miriam Shellhammer, and brothers Harold, John, Paul, Roy, and Robert.

She was also preceded in death by husbands Elmo Donati and Edgar McComb. A viewing will take place at the Dunmire, Kerr & Rowe Funeral Home,Inc. 244 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, January 25th, and services will be held at the same location at 11:00AM on Saturday .

Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
