Obituary for Janet E. Averill AVERILL, JANET E., 72, of Tucson, passed away, April 19, 2018. She was born in Albany, NY, daughter of the late Benjamin Creighton and Dorothy (Tinker) Hastings. She lived in Connecticut before moving to Arizona about 24 years ago.

Family and friends will remember Mrs. Averill for her crocheting and fine needle work. She love to spend time with her family but most especially, she enjoyed the time they spent camping together. She leaves her husband of 37 years, Frederick W. Averill, Sr.; her sons Roger Benjamin Butler of E. Windsor, CT and Raymond Butler (Lori) of Enfield, CT; a step-son, Frederick W. Averill, Jr. of Cincinnati, OH.

She leaves two brothers, Warren Lee Hastings, Roger M. Hastings and 8 nephews and nieces. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday in Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held, 4 – 8 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Evergreen Mortuary, N Oracle & W Miracle Mile To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Janet E.
