Obituary for Steven Charles “Chuck” Greenwood Steven Charles Greenwood known as “Chuck” to his family in Arizona and his friends, and known as Steve to his family from Des Moines Iowa. Was born on October 28th 1957 and died on April 5th 2018. A Beautiful Husband, Wonderful Father, Amazing Grandfather, and Loving Boss.

He battled Colon Cancer for 3. 5 years and is survived by his wife Maritza Greenwood, his three step children Thomas Nuanes, Marcus Fimbrez and Stephanie Weston, and his 3 step grandchildren, Talayah Nuanes, Anaya Rojas and Lorenzo Rojas. He was originally from Des Moines Iowa spent a lot of time in Winterset Iowa where his Grandparents lived.

He moved to Tucson Arizona approximately 40 years ago. Worked as Carpenter in his early years and began a Career in the Telecommunication’s Industry and met his wife at work. He became a Painting Contractor and built a Successful Painting Company Sea Green Painting and has left his legacy to his son and his wife to carry it on.

He came to Arizona 40 years ago and fell in love with Tucson, the desert and the mountains. He met his wife at work 28 years ago and remained with her for 25 years along with almost 19 years of marriage. He helped raise his step children and grandchildren and loved them dearly.

He loved Nature its beauty along with its entire creature’s, from the largest animal to the smallest spider, he loved the universe and its expansiveness. He planted over 150 trees and brushes in his home. Nature and the Universe were his religion.

He will be remembered for his huge sense of humor, always laughing, his big personality, his brilliant mind, his hard work and his kind heart. He will be missed by all. He had many friends and family throughout the Country and they considered him a true friend and a loving man.

He loved family and “Everybody was his Family”. The heavens will be so blessed with his presence. There will be two memorials one in Tucson Arizona held April 13th at 10am at Saint Peter and Paul, Burial at Evergreen Cemetery (Miracle Mile and Oracle).
