She was born in Jenkins County, was a retired seamstress for Jockey International and a dedicated member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lane Sr., and daughter, Martha Sue Westberry. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 am Saturday at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with Rev.

Tommy Pullium officiating. Survivors include her son Robert “Butch” Lane, Jr. of Garfield; 4 grandchildren, Joey Westberry, Julianne Westberry, Robbie Lane, and Jairus Lane; 6 great grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Georgia Baptist Children’s Home, 9420 Blackshear Hwy.
