Janet D. Austin, 62 of Prescott, passed away in Prescott on September 9, 2018. She was born on August 23, 1956 in Port Hueneme, California to Jack Howison and Joan Hopper. Janet served her country in the US Army.

She worked as Assistant Deputy Warden for the State Department of Correction in Florence, AZ. Janet is survived by her mother Joan Hopper; father Jack Howison; daughter Denise Mignault; sister Jill Moore; brother Jeff Howison and 3 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Prescott National Cemetery in Prescott, AZ on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:00am.
