Obituary of Janet Walker Janet Elaine Walker, 74, of Morgantown passed away at WVU Medicine on October 9, 2018. Janet was born in Morgantown on June 22, 1944 to the late Glen Burlin Starkey and Elizabeth Jean Isenhart Starkey. Janet was retired from West Virginia University where she worked in food service.

In her spare time, she enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. Janet is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard Walker; daughter Thresa Lingenfelter and her husband Thomas of Bellefonte, PA; son Rick Walker of Morgantown; sister Margaret Jean Smith of Morgantown; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a cousin and best friend, Linda Paugh of Morgantown; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in Janet’s memory to the American Cancer Society, at 122 S High St. Morgantown, WV 26505.

Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Friday, October 12th from 5-8 pm and again on Saturday, from 10 until the 11 am funeral service with Pastor Nathaniel Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.
